Kamivishop (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit kamivishop.com, create an account, purchase jewellery, submit a review, or communicate with us.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following information:

  • Contact and Delivery Information: Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and PIN code.
  • Account Information: Information you provide when registering, signing in, or managing your customer account.
  • Order and Transaction Information: Details of products purchased, order amount, discounts applied, payment status, transaction references, delivery details, cancellation requests, exchanges, and returns.
  • Customer Support Information: Messages, enquiries, complaints, photographs, and any other information you provide when seeking assistance via WhatsApp, email, or other channels.
  • Refund Information (for COD): Your UPI ID or bank account details (holder’s name, account number, and IFSC code) when required to process an eligible Cash on Delivery return/exchange adjustment.
  • Product Reviews: Your submitted ratings, written reviews, photographs, and public display name.
  • Website Usage Information: Your IP address, browser and device type, cookie identifiers, pages visited, and website interactions, depending on the tools enabled and your privacy choices.
  • Consent Preferences: Your choices regarding optional cookies and promotional marketing communications.

Safety Note: Please provide only information relevant to your purchase or enquiry. We will never ask for, and you should never send, card security codes (CVV), account passwords, PINs, or OTPs to our customer support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Process your orders, confirm payments, and arrange domestic/international delivery.
  • Create, maintain, and manage your customer account.
  • Handle order cancellations, exchanges, eligible COD refunds, and customer complaints.
  • Send order confirmations, tracking updates, and other essential service communications.
  • Respond to your product enquiries and provide dedicated customer support.
  • Publish product reviews and photographs that you voluntarily submit for public display.
  • Protect our website, investigate suspicious activity, and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Maintain accounting, tax, and billing records required by applicable Indian laws.
  • Understand website performance and measure advertising effectiveness when optional tracking is enabled.
  • Send promotional emails or WhatsApp marketing messages, only if you have explicitly opted in.

Note: If you choose not to provide the information necessary to fulfil an order or process an exchange, we may be unable to complete that service.

3. Payments and Refund Details

Online payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways identified at checkout (such as Razorpay or Cashfree). All payment credentials required are collected directly through their secure payment interfaces. We only receive the transaction information needed to confirm and manage your purchase.

If Razorpay is enabled at checkout, its handling of personal information is governed by the Razorpay Privacy Policy.

For eligible Cash on Delivery (COD) adjustments or exceptional refunds, we may request your UPI ID or bank account details. We use these details strictly to process the transaction and maintain necessary accounting records. We will never ask for your UPI PIN, card PIN, or OTP to issue an exchange credit or refund.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential Website Functions: Supporting your shopping cart, account login, secure checkout, website safety, and saving your privacy preferences.
  • Optional Analytics (Google Analytics): Understanding how visitors interact with our website to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Optional Advertising (Meta Pixel): Measuring advertising performance and helping us reach audiences interested in our jewellery.

Where enabled with your consent, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may receive device information, browser details, unique identifiers, and website interaction data.

Optional tracking is activated only after you provide your consent. You can accept or reject optional categories and change your preferences at any time through our [Insert Cookie Settings Link or Control]. Rejecting optional tracking will not affect your ability to purchase jewellery from our store.

5. Email and WhatsApp Communications

We use your contact details to send essential service messages, including order confirmations, delivery updates, payment receipts, and responses to your support enquiries.

Promotional emails and WhatsApp marketing messages require a separate opt-in. Placing an order does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. You can withdraw your consent for marketing at any time by:

  • Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional email.
  • Replying “STOP” to any promotional WhatsApp message.
  • Sending an email with your request to wecare@kamivishop.com.

6. When We Share Information

We share relevant personal information with trusted service providers only to operate our store and provide our services. These include:

  • Hosting and Website Providers: Hostinger, WordPress, WooCommerce, and verified plugin developers essential for website functionality (such as Yoast SEO).
  • Payment Processors: Providers managing secure online payments and transaction verifications.
  • Courier and Logistics Partners: Delivery companies requiring your name, shipping address, and phone number to deliver orders or arrange return pickups.
  • Communication Tools: Services used to automate our email, SMS, and WhatsApp customer support.
  • Professional Advisers and Authorities: Legal, audit, or law enforcement authorities where disclosure is strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations or prevent fraud.

Public Content Note: Reviews and photographs you submit for publication will be visible to all website visitors. Please avoid including private contact information or financial details in public reviews.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, including:

  • Fulfilling your jewellery orders and providing customer support.
  • Managing exchanges, returns, and resolving any complaints.
  • Maintaining legally mandated accounting, GST, and tax records.
  • Preventing fraud and establishing or defending legal claims.

When your personal information is no longer required and its legal retention period has ended, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Processing Locations

Our service providers may process or store information in India or other countries.

Where information is transferred outside India, we will take steps to ensure that the transfer meets applicable legal requirements and appropriate contractual or other safeguards.

9. Information Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including limiting access to people and service providers who need it for their work.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. If a security incident affects personal information, we will investigate and take the actions and provide the notices required by applicable law.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

You have the right to manage your personal data. You may contact us at any time to request:
